THE ASIAN CARAVAN FOR PALESTINE  – EAST ASIA AND SOUTH EAST ASIA REGIONAL MEETING

 

As all of you are informed of the fantastic  and  strenuous  effort is now underway to realise the Asian Caravan for Palestine scheduled to take place in December 2010 , the Malaysia coordinators will be organizing the regional meeting for the East Asia and South East Asia for planning and coordination of delegates and related activities.

We are extending this invitation to you to attend this regional meeting on the 3^rd November 2010 at the Selangor State Goverment Official Residence Complex , Section 7 , Jalan Hablur ,Shah Alam , Selangor , Malaysia ( 20 minutes drive from the capital city Kuala Lumpur).

The meeting is of great significance since the outcome will hopefully solidify the regional participation and preparation for the caravan endeavour to Gaza and a build up of a deeper and effective Asian People’s Solidarity Movement for Palestine within the region in the long term.

This meeting will attempt to have a good representative of the regions which will comprise South Korea , Japan , Philippines ,  Cambodia , Thailand , Malaysia , Indonesia . We will try to get contacts from  Brunei and Singapore . We have yet to identify people from Laos , Vietnam and Myanmar (difficult but not impossible) .

You are advise to arrive Kuala Lumpur on the 2^nd November 2010. We will provide accommodations, meals  and local logistic during the 1 day 3^rd November meeting .

8.30 am    Breakfast

9.00 am    Meeting commence

– Introduction of participants

– Overall briefing and background of Asian Caravan

– Mode of Transport and Logistical arrangement of the Caravan

– Timing of caravan

– Firming up of East Asia And South East Asia participation  Asian People’s Solidarity for Palestine

6.00 pm   Closing and

4^th Nov 2010       Departure of foreign delegates
